The Natural Flavor design stands out with its emphasis on the loft style and the integration of nature. The use of natural materials as the main element, such as engineered flooring, wood blocks, retro bricks, sawed veneer, melamine board, metal bricks, marble, and wood decorative board, adds a rustic and organic touch to the space. This design choice not only creates a warm and inviting atmosphere but also promotes a sense of harmony with the surrounding environment.

One of the unique features of the Natural Flavor design is the utilization of sunlight and spatial permeability. The strategic placement of windows and the removal of unnecessary walls allow for ample natural light to flood the space from three directions. This not only enhances the visual appeal of the interior but also creates a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors, making dwellers feel as if they are embraced by nature.

The design also addresses the challenge of maximizing space utilization. By implementing a 45-degree beveled design, the designer effectively solves the issue of wasted space in corners. These distorted corners are transformed into functional storage areas, ensuring that every inch of the space is utilized efficiently. Additionally, the doors in the design are all aligned with the ceiling and cabinets, creating a sense of continuity and expanding the visual perception of the space.

The Natural Flavor design encompasses a living room, dining room, kitchen, light bar, study room, three bedrooms, and two washrooms, covering a total area of 158 square meters. The open and spacious layout, combined with the natural elements and loft-style aesthetics, creates a comfortable and vibrant living environment.

Completed in August 2018 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, the Natural Flavor design is a testament to the designer's meticulous research and attention to detail. By reimagining the space and integrating the loft style with the client's love for nature, Ying Li Cheng has created a truly unique and inspiring residential design.

The Natural Flavor design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award recognizes the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards.
